Picking up your car leasing
All the formalities are finalized with Europ Auto prior to your departure and you will be met personally by a welcome agent at the place and time indicated on your contract.
You must have the following documents in hand when you take possession of your car:
- Your Car-2-Europe Peugeot or DS Automobiles contract;
- Your valid passport;
- A proxy form if the pick up is done by the contract holder’s spouse or common-law partner. Only the spouse or direct relative may take possession of the vehicle on behalf of the contract holder.
Important: Drivers must be 18 years of age or older and have held a valid driver’s licence for at least 1 year.
Your pick up agent will offer you the following items:
- 2 keys;
- Insurance certificate (green card);
- Vehicle registration certificate (grey card);
- Joint report with an explanatory note;
- Safety kit (fluorescent vest and warning triangle).
Your agent will offer complete explanations and will accompany you to take possession of the vehicle. You can take the wheel with peace of mind. 10 litres of fuel will also be supplied.
Attention: For appointments without flight numbers, we will wait a maximum of 30 minutes after the planned time. In the case of flight (*) or meeting time changes, contact us or warn the pick up centre directly at the coordinates on the Bon Voyage, the station plan we gave you, or available on our website.
(*) especially in the case of connection flight changes.
Returning your car leasing
You must make an appointment with the return centre at least 4 business days in advance by calling the telephone number or using the email address indicated on the access plan we sent you by email.
The vehicle must always be returned in one of the Peugeot or DS Autmobiles centres. If this is not the case, all related fees including administration fees will be invoiced and charged to your credit card by Peugeot or DS Autmobiles (towing, parking fees, etc.).
For any return of the car to a center not approved by Car-2-Europe (Peugeot-DS Automobiles):
- In the same city as initially planned : the customer will have to pay the costs of transportation and other related charges such as parking and storage.
- In a different city in France than the one initially planned : $CAD 700.
- In a different city outside of France than the one initially planned : $CAD 1000.
At the time of return, you must return the following items:
- 2 keys;
- Vehicle registration certificate (grey card);
- International insurance document,
- Hybrid vehicle charging cable.
Any unreturned items will be invoiced and charged to your credit card by Peugeot or DS Automobiles.
Example: 200 € will be invoiced in the case of:
- Missing grey card or keys.
You will be charged 100% of all costs involved (transport, parking, towing...) if you abandon your vehicle without returning it to the planned restitution center.
When returning the vehicle, you must return the vehicle in a state of reasonable cleanliness, meaning without trash or dirty seats covered with animal hair or sand, etc. A systematic check will be performed and for any vehicle’s requiring major cleaning, fees of 80 € will be charged to the contract holder.

In the case of a return in France rather than another country, the surcharge will not be reimbursed.
